It has been quite an eventful weekend I must say. I will discuss the happenings of each day as they occurred… I hate not being organized.
Friday (afternoon)
Went and taught my class of 16 students. Yeah, its a small group, but I am still scared of them, because I don’t know much about anything except what I do at work… and I don’t want them to know that. We talking about pediatric asthma… Yikes. What the hell is that? I have no idea… I don’t know ANYTHING about pediatric ANYTHING but I guess I learned something.
Saturday
I woke up, did my Sean T INSANITY workout video and then WENT TO GO PICK UP MY PATRIOTS SUPER BOWL TICKETS! BAH! I am 27 and live with my mom… Laugh away, but I am saving up to buy a place of my own… AND I have been in school for 8 years, then took a post-doctoral fellowship position, which is basically like school… but I got paid 20 cents an hour. But anyway, here is my mom bawlin out of control before we went to get my tickets together.
Yup, awesome. So anyways, we took the sick Escalade (spelling?) to pick up the tickets, waited in line which seemed like forever…. and FINALLY GOT THEM. The anticipation was killing me. But I got them, posed with them, took them out at lunch to show off, made the world jealous… well only those who got to see the glorious ticket in the “flesh” and took a million pictures… and posted them on my pix page. This was an incredible moment, the second those tickets were in my hand… they are beautiful… Yes sir-ey. I was so happy, but also really sad during this experience. My dad and I were supposed to go to the Super Bowl together this year… It was decided at the beginning of December. But he will be there with me in spirit. O:^D
After picking up the tickets and spending almost $200 in the pro shop it was time for lunch. Now, don’t think I am a “fair weather fan”. BUT I don’t have any really cute girly Pats attire because I am always wearing 30 layers at games because it is so cold. AND I am going to the Super Bowl this year, obviously with a member of the opposite sex, so I need to look as fly as possible. More about this later.

So after the mall, we went to Best Buy, my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE STORE, and I bought a Sonicare toothbrush so I can be extra clean AND one of those blogging video camera things… Soooo I will be making videos for my blog now… THEN maybe someone will watch it!
Sunday
Got up, did Sean T INSANITY video, went to church, went to breakfast, which beings us to today. I really like going to church. So recently my dad passed away. It wasn’t easy and still isn’t. And probably never will be. But I guess I had kind of a “sign” type experience during his time of illness and passing. My dad was always religious, and went to Catholic schools his whole life. He went to College of the Holy Cross where he experienced a bunch of shit head college kids shit faced at mass and never went back. So needless to say for his funeral we wanted it to be religious. Another important point to bring up is that my dad is OBSESSED with the Patriots and football in general – he played through college. So when we went to the Catholic priest in our town…. out of alllllll the Catholic priests in New England… the one in our home town… has been the priest for the Patriots for the past 22 years… Seriously? What are the chances of that… OUT OF ALLLLL THE POSSIBLE PRIESTS! Call it a sign, a coincidence, BS, whatever you want, but after that experience I felt the compelling urge to see with this religion stuff is all about.
Now it’s time to practice meditation… I started doing that recently too. And have a relaxing day until the work week starts all over again…. AND THEN LEAVING FOR INDYYYY ONNNN FRIIIDAYYYYYY.
